    Creative Copywriter for Social

    Our Amsterdam/Hilversum office is looking for an experienced creative who can lead social content to make popular brands even more likeable.


    Role & Responsibilities

    • As a Copy Monk at MediaMonks, you wield words, wisdom and wit on behalf of top-name clients for the creative production of digital products, advertising and marketing content.
    • Formally based at our swanky Singapore offices but effectively starting from anywhere (WFH FTW), you'll spend half your time working as part of a dedicated team of Monks who are winning social on behalf of an ambitious automotive client.
    • You'll work closely with strategists and community managers on the ideation and execution of brand campaigns, always-on content and global product launches.
    • You'll elevate social media advertising from playing a supporting role to being the star in an always-on world, with bespoke content and fully fledged campaigns.
    • You're not just responsible for making up ideas: you're responsible for making social content happen from pitch to production.
    • Next to championing social for one of our key clients, you'll help secure, shape, and sell our work through copy and other creative means, bringing in new assignments through pitch-winning proposals.
    • You'll collaborate with clients and colleagues to verbalise ideas, iron out concepts and nail creative issues through endless iteration—providing a range of copy options every step of the way.
    • In short, you ensure that everything makes sense, is correct, consistent and meets client objectives through craft and creative excellence.

    • You're able to present a portfolio of projects that showcases your ability to craft high-quality content for high-end brands.
    • You can own projects from brief to delivery—independently proposing original ideas and working with a cross-disciplinary team to make those concepts shine.
    • Combining creative and critical thinking, your analytical approach means you ask the right questions and make sense of briefs from a strategic and conceptual perspective.
    • Your pitching skills are up to par with your concepting skills: you know how to make a case and can sell people on an idea through effective presentation decks.
    • You like working in fast-paced environments with colleagues from and working in different parts of the world.
