    Creative Assistant (Available Immediately)

    NOTE: This position requires working in both Amsterdam or Haarlem offices depending on the duty and task of the day.

    We are a multi-media creative house. We are passionate about building businesses, telling stories of craftsmanship, and searching for hidden travel places around the globe. At Modern Made, everything is possible; we allow ourselves to dream, create, invent and most importantly, have fun.

    We are launching a new exciting project: Augusk Collective, under the umbrella of Modern Made. Augusk is an online platform telling meaningful stories through the lens of food, travel, interior design, and cultural persperspecties. This will be your new home, where we are building a fresh new team full of dreamers and storytellers from scratch.


    We are looking for an executive assistant with a background in administration related to fashion, travel, and/or event planning to join our team. You will contribute to creating various content formats regarding food, travel, and lifestyle. Your responsibilities include styling (fashion and set), event planning, and administrative support. You should demonstrate strong organizational skills and have a proactive attitude.

    + WHO ARE YOU:

    • You have 1-2 years of experience working in the fashion/lifestyle industry
    • Experience in project management with a track record of successful events.
    • Demonstrable experience as a stylist.
    • Strong knowledge of stylish clothing and accessory combinations
    • You are a problem-solver with the ability to multi-task and work effectively and quickly under high-pressure deadlines
    • Your work is consistent, and you pay attention to detail regardless of project size/scope
    • You have strong communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal
    • Interested or experience in photography, videography, graphic design


    • Purchasing and storing a range of suitable products ahead of each fitting.
    • Contacting PR agencies and stores for collaborations
    • Fulfilling specific requests such as sourcing local, environmentally friendly, or collector's items.
    • Scouting for tough-to-find items that may have otherwise been inaccessible to clients.
    • Purchasing and storing a range of suitable products ahead of each fitting.
    • Brainstorming and implementing event concepts and themes.
    • Preparing event budgets and processing invoices.
    • Research and booking venues.
    • Organizing suppliers, caterers, staff, and entertainment.
    • Coordinating all logistic elements of the event.
    • Ability to lead a large team and delegate tasks effectively.
    • Making arrangements for meetings and travel.
    • Maintaining positive relationships with vendors, clients, and coworkers.
    • Reviewing and updating office procedures to reduce errors and costs.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing work environment
    • Coordinate complex, multi-leg travel arrangements (international & domestic)
    • Create marketing tools: signage, media kits, newsletters
    • Knowledge of using Adobe Suite is a plus


    • Excellent speaking and writing in English
    • You can travel overseas for productions
    • Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills.
    • Excellent management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Can drive with a clean record.
    • Must be strong to carry at least 23 kilos
    • A good eye, typography, and layout skills
    • Ability to be creative can-do attitude, and be flexible in a tight deadline
    • Technically savvy and quick to grasp new skills and software
    • Creative, positive, energetic, and proactive

    • Salary: 40000 € / year with 40 hours work week
