We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal within our growing Legal Department in Netherlands. The Corporate Paralegal will assist the legal team by processing a variety of business contracts as well as corporate documents. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, as well as solid problem solving abilities will be needed to support our group of 10 attorneys worldwide. Related practice areas include intellectual property (trademarks, patents), finance, employment and securities.
Assist attorneys in all phases of contract administration, including preparing, reviewing, proofing and filing customer, vendor and corporate contracts
Draft and process form contracts
Maintain and update corporate form documents
Contract management and record retention
Assist in creating and maintaining file systems
Assist drafting corporate board documents and maintaining minute books (including international
Process quarterly and annual corporate documents
Assist with company compliance issues
5-7 years of experience in either an in-house corporate or law firm; BS/BA degree or paralegal certification
Must be an expert with Microsoft Office; experience with a contract management system, records
database or Boardvantage experience is a plus
Good knowledge of legal principles and standard domestic corporate contracts and documents;
knowledge of international corporate practice is a plus
Ability to create and/or maintain a contract management system, records database or automated
contract system, as well as experience in creating and maintaining legal files
Excellent written and communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize multiple projects and work independently
