    UL is looking for a Fleet Business Analyst. This is an operational role that primarily focuses on managing fleet services in Europe. In this role, you will support the selection and onboarding of new automobiles, oversee a fuel purchase and preventative maintenance program, track the completion of these tasks by external vendors and expenses. You will liaise with our fleet management companies and preferred suppliers to coordinate tire storage, driver training and accident assistance.

    What youâll learn & achieve::
    • Develop and support the implementation of a centralized fleet management program focused on vendor consolidation, data visibility and reporting, sustainability of fleet, customer experience, cost optimization and Key Performance indicators (KPI’s).
    • Closely collaborate with Global Travel Manager and key stakeholder groups to optimize travel processes and support continuous improvement across EMEA region.
    • Ability to aggregate, analyze, and convey both financial and non-financial data to drive decisions which improve cost, quality and/or sustainability.
    • Support all stages of Fleet lifecycle: lease negotiation/inception, title/license, billing, maintenance, reporting, termination, etc.
    • Leverage previous experience and knowledge of industry best practices to drive automated, mobile self-service solutions.
    • Support the development of company policy, establishment of process governance adherence to both financial and regulatory control requirements.
    • Manages and apply fleet policies, making recommendations for updates.
    • Review contracts, assist with local negotiations, and onboarding activities including locating and assigning vehicles to drivers.
    • Solve problems and provide resources to fleet drivers and their managers.
    • Aggregate, review and analyze fleet data needed to establish, support and measure KPIs.
    • Looks for ways to reduce costs and increase profits, in addition to finding means for getting better fuel efficiency.
    • Assist with process mapping, to develop a centralized, standardized fleet management program.
    • Complies with all the laws and regulations of local countries.
    • Manages accident reports and insurance requirements.
    • Assists with process improvement and cost optimization.
    • May lead projects or project steps within UL fleet management.
    • Will be accountable for the on-going fleet activities or objectives.
    • Work independently with minimal guidance.
    • Establishes Situational Procedures for Possible Problems and Scenarios
    • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
    • Performs other duties as directed.
    What makes you a great fit::
    • Ideally have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logistics and a few years of related experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
    • Experience in supporting project management, creating presentations, compiling and analyzing data.
