As our Corporate Communications Officer you will help tell TomTom’s corporate and financial story to key external stakeholders. You will develop and execute communication plans to drive creative content for our corporate channels and handle requests from national and international media. In this role, you will report to the Head of Corporate Communications and work closely together with the broader communication team.
What you’ll do
Storytelling: Using your business and financial expertise to craft press materials, statements and editorial content
Supporting our corporate campaigns and initiatives, communicating across traditional and digital channels.
Stay on top of the latest relevant media topics and industry trends
Monitor communication of competitors and industry reports and relate them to implications for TomTom
Handle international and national media inquiries, create presentations, update media materials, maintain distribution lists, monitor relevant topics and the broader media landscape, organize media events
Contribute to internal communications tasks such as providing corporate and financial content
What you’ll need
Around 3 years of experience in corporate communication, a communications agency or financial media
Masters’ degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Communications or a related field
Experience in working with or for listed companies is an advantage
Results-oriented and flexible. You work fast and precise
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, good planning and project management skills
Excellent writing skills and the ability to create engaging communications
Excellent (native level) written and spoken English, Dutch is a plus
The role is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
