    About the Position

    We are looking for an inspirational experienced Consumer Experience Platform Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The International Consumer Experience Team is located in our Nijmegen office in the Netherlands.

    You’ll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Consumer Culinary Experience Director- International.

    Your primary responsibility will be to drive the team and organisation transformation from delivering insights into creating experiences. You will play a strong role in driving our innovation pipeline within the International Zone- ensuring the team is delivering relevant and actionable insights to drive our product developments. To do so- you will be partnering closely and effectively with International Marketing Excellence and Consumer Market Insights teams- as well as with R&D and Marketing teams.

    The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of CTI delivery- including definition and execution of Consumer First Design best practices (Lean Start Up approach). In addition- the candidate has proven experiences in establishing categories’ holistic learning plans- as well as claims and benefits strategy (from ideation to execution).

    Being a thought leader in defining the future experiences of Kraft Heinz consumers and finding impactful solutions aligned with the categories’ strategy will be key to success.

    Passion for food- products- and consumers is an absolute must to succeed in this role.

    A strong external orientation- ability to build networks internally and externally- and love for doing things digital are essential elements in the profile of the suitable candidate. In addition- the candidate should have an ability to smoothly navigate through an international organization- deliver through others (incl indirect reports)- sharply communicate- and simplify the complex.


    In brief- you will be responsible for:

    • Manage a team of Consumer Experience Researchers dedicated to our key product categories as well as the Sensory Science team all located in Nijmegen- NL.
    • Ensure best in class project implementation and project pipeline prioritization
    • Lead our consumer innovation journey from deeply understanding consumers pain points to validating meaningful solutions including early go-to-market approaches through product experimentations- integrating lean start up as well as design thinking methodologies when relevant
    • When needed- manage directly strategic projects
    • Lead categories’ learning agenda within the international zone- working in very strong collaboration with the CMI team
    • Ensure synergies are created within the international zone with our BUs- aligning on best practices- supporting specific needs with guidelines and cascading key insights as well as collecting the ones generated at the local levels
    • Upskill teams across the International Zone
    • Drive Claims & Benefit strategies for our Growth Platforms
    • Manage a network of external partnerships for consistency- quality and agility

    Qualifications


    Competencies and skills

    • Business and result-oriented to drive projects pipeline with efficiency- including monitoring and allocation of proper resources.
    • Able to drive transformation and demonstrate future forward-looking mindset including appetite for new tools
    • Experienced using Lean Start Up- Agile- and Design Thinking methodologies in the context of consumer research problematics when appropriate
    • Good knowledge of Consumer ethnography and other consumer qualitative learning
    • Create opportunities to build consumer empathy to re-enforce the company consumer focus
    • Able to navigate in matrix organization and take decisions in complex environment without having all the information at end. Able to simplify complex information
    • Experienced in developing talents within the team and elevate the consumer experience expertise within the company
    • Strong network of market research suppliers and innovation coaches
    • Interest in data and digital

    Education and experience

    • BS in Food Science- Engineering or Sensory / Consumer Science - or in Marketing or Innovation Studies
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of Consumer Technical Insights or Consumer Science
    • Global experience within a matrixial organization
    • Strong background in quantitative and qualitative research and experiences in workshop facilitations
    • Knowledge of Design thinking and/or lean start up methodologies applied to consumer products testing
    • Fluent in English
