Summary: The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week). Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Basic Function of Position: The incumbent will process consular applications to the point of final review by a consular officer. Handling accountable items, including passport books and visa/passport foils, in accordance with accountability measures, to include performing quality assurance checks, printing and pasting visas, and creating limited validity passport books. Interacting with the public at consular interview windows during public hours and responding to customer inquiries via phone, e-mail, or other method. Responding to crisis events, including conducting outreach visits and taking phone calls from the public.
Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements: Experience: Two years of administrative experience in an office setting with customer service experience involving communications with the public in person, over the phone, and electronically is required. * Job Knowledge: *Principles of accountancy and managing cash and other sensitive documents. Must be able to read regulations, interpret them, and apply them in the workplace.
Education Requirements: Completion of secondary school is required.
Evaluations: Language: Speaking/Reading/Writing level 4 (fluent) English and level 2 (limited knowledge) Dutch is required. (This may be tested.)
Skills and Abilities: Must be able to work under constant pressure while handling a high volume of applicants, an increasing workload, daily deadlines, dissatisfied customers, and emotional U.S. citizens. Benefits and Other Info Benefits:
Agency Benefits: Salary: €39,898 annual base salary. An additional 20.2% will be added to the listed Locally Employed (LE) Staff salary for allowances and premiums. You will receive a vacation bonus at 8.2 percent of base pay, a bonus for duty-free days at 3.67 percent of base pay and a year-end bonus at 8.33 percent of base pay. For this FSN-7 position this equates to a total remuneration of €47,957 per annum based on a 40-hour work week.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
