Job Description:
Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects
Assist in performing bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations
Activity Plans
Verify that the project is:
o Adhering to industry codes and standards
o Following department practices and procedures
o Incorporating HSE factors into the module design
Participate in people development through mentoring, development of training material, and conducting training seminars including performance appraisal input and counseling
Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Plan and organize work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
Maintain compliance with all applicable Fluor policies, procedures, and global standards

Job Description:

- Develop and build external relations with client representatives and interface closely with other discipline functions promoting Client Service Excellence
- Provide assistance to engineering, construction and fabrication personnel
- Engage Fluor’s global community, promoting a One Fluor mindset
- Deliver quality work, and adhere to the Operating System Requirements (OSR)
- Execute project work in accordance with approved
Activity Plans

Basic Job Requirements
Based in Hoofddorp, North Holland, the Construction Module Manager will be responsible for supporting Home Office and site based projects of all sizes across all of Fluor's business lines.
This position serves as the coordinator of all engineering, fabrication and construction activities related to modular project execution.
Develops and/or issues the following:
o Module Feasibility Study
o Module Strategy
o Module Execution Plan/Philosophy
Assist in the development of:
o Heavy Haul/Heavy Lift sub-contract
o Module logistics plan
o Module yard sub-contract scope
o Marine Surveyor or Naval Architect sub-contract
o Module yard selection
o Construction Work Package definitions
o Estimates, schedules, staffing requirements, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports for projects
Provide guidance to the project team for:
o Module concept/design - optimum module shape and weight
o Module fabrication
o Module loadout, transport, offload and installation
This position serves as the coordinator of all engineering, fabrication and construction activities related to modular project execution.

Frequent business trips in support of group activities and potential medium to long term site assignments in the Netherlands and overseas.

The role will be based out of Hoofddorp (Amsterdam office), but it will be required for the person to provide support to all Fluor offices and site locations in the EAME region.

Preferred Qualifications
Accredited degree or equivalent in applicable field of study, and significant proven work related experience.
Advanced knowledge of:
o Modular fabrication and construction techniques
o Modular project execution
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
