About the job
We are looking for a skilled Concept and Product Designer who can bring cutting-edge blockchain technology to life. You will be working on innovative projects from their inception, often starting with only a vague problem. Through Design Sprints and an iterative approach, you will translate business objectives, societal developments, and technological possibilities into innovative products. Running workshops, prototyping, and designing UX is all part of your toolkit. Communicating with both a complex stakeholder field as well as software engineers are a daily job.
One day you might be working on the UX design of a platform to track hazardous waste to improve global safety, while the other day you might be facilitating a Design Sprint that aims to enable cotton farmers in optimizing their yield in a sustainable fashion.
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in science or design.
You have about 3 years experience of designing products. Preferably software and hardware.
You have experience with running Design Sprints and other Design thinking or Lean methodologies.
You know how to design for UX and know what it takes to develop great interfaces.
You have experience with doing field research and validating your products in a real-life context.
You have or like to get affinity with blockchain technology/DLT.
You like to work for innovative and industry-leading companies, business to business.
You have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills (English is a must; Dutch, French, Portuguese or Mandarin is a nice to have).
