The position of Sales Controller is situated within the Business Group Food & Beverages, Fighting Unit Consumer Dairy Netherlands (CD NL). This team is located at the HQ in Amersfoort. Your main responsibilities would be to provide strategic insights, analysis and to drive the execution of our sales teams. You will also be enrolled in advising management on decisions with financial consequences to maximize financial awareness and minimize risks. You will be closely cooperating with the sales team, where you would lead budgets, forecasting and long-range plans.

What we ask
Fluent in Dutch
Academic/Master (WO) level, preferably a finished RA/RC
5+ years’ work experience
Deep and broad knowledge of all business and finance processes
Deep knowledge of Micro Strategy, BW, SAP, and Excel (visual fabriq is a pre)
Knowledge of and experience in the Dutch retail/ out of home landscape
Very strong analytical and financial skills
Being a challenging business partner

Strong communication and presentation skills (both Dutch and English)

You will be closely cooperating with the sales team, where you would lead budgets, forecasting’s and long-range plans.
Be part of a very enthusiastic and dynamic business team where you can really drive business profitability and get a good understanding of the Dutch Out of Home landscape (e.g. channels such as Horeca, Catering and Convenience).
Work closely with, but not limited to, the Out of Home sales teams. They need to see you as the financial guide to make the right decisions. You will also challenge them based on your own analysis. Next to this, you are a direct advisor and business partner to the Out of Home Customer Development Manager
Manage monthly business reviews. You will manage and improve the management reporting (part of the month end close process) to create good business insights and manage/steer our performance.
Be responsible for the full Out of Home landscape and therefore a significant part of the complete business within CD NL; with direct customers like Sligro and Maxxam, and many indirect customers. Your tasks are related to answering questions such as how to improve the effectiveness of our trade spend and how to create profitable cooperation with different Out of Home customers. In doing so, you will focus on multiple stakeholders and diverse business dynamics.
