    Commercial Activation Manager NL (Franchise)

    Job Description

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

    Support Franchise Manager NL managing the NL beverage businesses and bottler/distributor relations.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Reporting to the Franchise Manager NL, your main responsibilities are:

    • Daily contact with bottler Vrumona and PepsiCo’s Brand Manager Social Beverages NL to secure optimal workflow and deliveries/implementation of all Below The Line (BTL) Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) Brand plans in line with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives;
    • Work closely with CSD Brand Managers to actively contribute to Above The Line (ATL) Marketing and Brand planning;
    • Co-ordinate adaptation of West-Europe ATL marketing ammunition for CSD Brand portfolio and development of local BTL strategy;
    • Important part of securing the local BTL & ATL Marketing platforms, from 360 idea generation to planning and execution in alignment & support with Brand Manager Social Beverages NL;
    • Independently drive BTL agenda with bottler, be the primary PepsiCo International (PI) BTL bottler & agency contact in Netherlands;
    • Take co-ownership on Marketing agenda and secure flawless execution of the promotion plan with bottler and delivering business targets;
    • Collaboratively drive and take ownership on multiple large scale local projects (Events & Sponsorships) to secure flawless execution e.g. festivals and concerts with bottler;
    • Ensure an Omni-channel BTL activation strategy is delivered in partnership with Vrumona with focus on growing &/or emerging channels (Grocery, Convenience & Gas, Away From Home, e-AFH, e-Commerce) by supporting Franchise Manager NL;
    • Actively contribute to business planning general support to Franchise Manager NL developing business plan, strategy generating to plan and execution plans etc;
    • Adhoc BTL projects & reports, POS development, label changes, glassware, NPI development, sales reports, In-store execution analysis etc;
    • Ensure best practice sharing / collection NWE BU;

    • Be lead in creating synergies across NWE through Marketing platforms & activations, POS, launch material etc.
    • Market insights management and performance tracking;
    • Manage selected NL business insight projects;
    • Develop/maintain performance management processes & tools (Nielsen Answers Desktop etc.);
    • Develop/execute local commercial digital brand platforms (e-com/etailers i.e: banners, assets, bundles, promos, communication at clients websites, etc…) in cooperation with Brand Manager Social Beverages NL.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    KEY SKILLS:

    • Have min 3-5 years FMCG experience preferably within a top 5 player with branded products
    • Marketing, Sales & Digital capabilities
    • Strong understanding of Dutch retail environment
    • Analytical skills – ability to analyze complex situations
    • Good presentation and communication skills
    • Experience in Nielsen/Gfk retail/consumer tracking
    • Fluency in English and preferably Dutch
    • Excellent time and project management skills
