We are therefore looking for a Central Merchandising Manager.
As a Central Merchandise Manager, you will be responsible for managing all
Merchandising Reporting and co-ordinating all Merchandising requirements across all
functions in the business (Controlling, Marketing and Logistics etc).
You ensure up-to-date analyses and professionalize overviews.
You report to the Head of Merchandising Mens, Sports & Shoes.
Main Tasks and responsibilities: You would provide accurate and detailed overviews of Performance and Trade, highlighting opportunities and risks. This would be for both weekly reporting, and also all key event performance;
You would be responsible for the preparation of all Merchandising reporting;
You would be the link between the Chief Sales Officer, Heads of Merchandising, the Merchandising Function and the rest of the Business;
You would own the Trade Plan, and be responsible for communicating all events and promotions across the business;
You would be responsible for managing stock & intake targets across all categories;
You would provide solutions for non-moving stock;
You would be responsible for tracking intake margins v plan;
You would prepare templates for Merchandising key meetings;
You would manage top line Alliance sales and stock plans;
Managing Outlet stocks & markdowns.
We think this is important: Experienced as a Senior Merchandise Planner;
Experienced in WSSI management;
Advanced Excel knowledge;
Experienced within a multi-channel environment;
Strong organization and time management skills;
The knowledge and ability to implement new processes;
Excellent numerical knowledge;
Experienced in preparing analytical reports;
The ability to communicate well at all levels.
