FrieslandCampina is looking for a driven, ambitious and experienced Category Manager - Global Procurement Lead Chemicals. In this challenging role you manage and maintain the global Chemicals procurement portfolio by driving strategic programs with the objective to get TCO benefits, added value for the business and enhancing contract compliance; managing change process that results from the strategy execution.
What we ask
University or higher education
Minimum 5-10 years procurement experience in a multinational environment
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a chemicals procurement role for the Food industry
Speak/write in English, preferably also in Dutch
Effective and engaging communication style
Stakeholder sensitivity
Positive mindset & perseverance

In This Role You Are Responsible to:
- Develop and drive execution of global Chemicals strategy
- Analyse, map and understand content of Chemicals spend
- Connect and translate FrieslandCampina’s business strategy to procurement objectives
- Obtain support and buy in for procurement strategy execution
- Track and trace financial impact of strategy execution in procurement financial tooling
Drive global programs/tenders/global negotiations with strategic suppliers
- As result of defined procurement strategy, execute programs, RFQ’s and conduct contract negotiations
- Track and trace financial impact of tender execution in procurement financial tooling and contract compliance in contract management tool
Manage senior stakeholders
- Engage with relevant business and procurement stakeholders during strategy development, strategy and tender execution and project implementation to ensure alignment, support and buy in in the entire program/project process.
- Engage with relevant business stakeholders to keep track of and connection with business priorities and translate impact to procurement program.
