    Business Program Manager

    Business Program Manager – Western Europe AVP Office

    The Office of the Western Europe Area Vice President ( WE AVP) is looking for a motivated, collaborative and dynamic Business Program Manager (BPM) to join the team, reporting directly to the WE Senior Business Manager (BM). The WE BPM will help improve, develop, orchestrate and scale processes across the AVP office and WE area and play a key role in driving clarity for the team and audiences across the company.

    Great candidates for this role will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude with the tenacity and resilience to deliver in complex, fast-paced environments. They will have excellent communication skills, an interest and track record in program management, with a proactive workstyle to pick up and run with projects that drive impact at all levels of the company.

    While key areas of this role will focus on program management and supporting the day to day operations, planning, and execution of the WE AVP office, there will also be opportunities to provide strategic support and work closely with the WE BM community, WE Chief of Staff and WE Leadership Team.

    Note this role is open to any location in Microsoft Western Europe (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland) + France and the UK.



    Business Support & Process Improvements: You will support the day-to-day operations, planning and execution of the WE AVP office, working closely with the WE AVP BM and Executive Assistants. You will be expected to review key processes and propose innovative improvements to optimize the team’s workflow, agility and efficiency. This could include areas such approvals, AVP meeting requests, analysis of team rhythm and AVP time management, organization and management of sharepoint sites, OneNotes, Teams Channels among many others.

    Western Europe Awards Manager:
    With the support of the WE AVP BM, you will be the Western Europe Award Manager and own the all-up process for internal awards (Champion and Platinum/Gold Club), as well as drive clarity across other WE award categories. In doing so, you will work with stakeholders across all 12 subsidiaries and WE Area to help optimize the processes for celebrating our people and culture.

    Customer & Partner Engagement Prep:
    You will be a key part of the CPE process, working closely with the WE AVP BM and account/partner teams to ensure quality and timely briefing documents, follow-up emails and coordinated action tracking. You will also support the planning and prep for WE AVP country visits (virtual and in-person) and other Executive visits to WE.

    WE Community Support:
    You will have the opportunity to engage with the WE Business Manager Community, helping to drive the team’s rhythm and support weekly calls through agenda building, content development, Teams channel + SharePoint site management. Similarly, you will help the WE AVP office plan and prepare for Western Europe LT calls and offsites.

    Strategic Projects: In addition to all other roles and responsibilities, the WE BPM will have the opportunity to work on projects that align to their broader career goals, defined and scoped with the WE BM.

    • 2+ years of experience
    • Program management experience & ownership of programmatic initiatives
    • Understanding of Microsoft technology and solutions; proficient in Powerpoint, Excel, OneNote, Sharepoint, Teams
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English fluency)
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills & process-driven approach
    • Strong collaboration skills to drive results across stakeholders and cultures
    • Proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude and creative problem solving skills
    • Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment
    • Displays great judgment and integrity in dealing with sensitive materials and information
