    Business Intelligence Administrator

    What you'll do

    As Business Intelligence Administrator, you'll be responsible for making sure our Business Intelligence tooling is running smoothly. Hundreds of your colleagues rely on our tooling every day to do data analysis. You'll be responsible for making sure questions from your colleagues get answered or directed to the right teams. We regularly add new data sources to our business intelligence platform, and you'll make sure these can be surfaced in our tooling. You'll work closely together with our security and infrastructure teams to make sure all of this happens in a safe and scalable way. Next to these operational tasks, you'll also work on community-building for a group of around one hundred developers that maintain the underlying framework for the data analysis that can be done with our data warehouse.

    Responsibilities include coordinating a monthly meeting to share updates and highlights with our community, writing a monthly newsletter with relevant news, maintaining our internal documentation or organizing a community Hackathon. Maintaining our tooling should involve as little manual work as possible, so you are good at spotting opportunities to reduce the operational load and kick-start other projects that help all of your Adyen colleagues use data in their work.

    Who you are

    • You spot opportunities for automating manual work to ease the operational load and can translate these into technical requirements, and perhaps even work on the code yourself
    • You like helping others with your expertise
    • You are proactive and a self-starter: you like to fix things before they go wrong
    • Experience with Looker and/or ticketing software such as Zendesk are a plus
    • Programming & Git(Lab)-experience are a plus
    • You are looking for a chance to begin a career in data
