    Job Description

    • Developing and maintaining a BDM plan for designated areas (practices, market segments, and/or product categories)
    • Taking the lead in executing BDM plans in close collaboration with Amsterdam (cross) practice teams, colleagues in the global Linklaters network, and potentially external parties
    • Pro-actively discover new areas of opportunity for designated areas including obtaining relevant research and advising on a pragmatic BDM approach
    • Lead the development of client-facing documents in response to RFP's, RFI's and client presentations including the coordination of (global) input, drafting, and collecting client feedback
    • Giving BDM trainings to associates
    • Leading or taking part in cross-office BDM initiatives and/or the local rollout of global BDM initiatives
    • Ensuring BDM related data and knowledge is stored, updated, and shared in the proper way.

    The Successful Applicant

    • You preferably have a degree in Business Development/Marketing & Communications (HBO/WO)
    • You have a good practical understanding of BD and Marketing techniques and you are able to deploy these independently
    • You have a good sense for spotting (new) client and market opportunities and how to develop these to leads
    • You have gained 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a (global) business law/professional services environment
    • When you have experience in the field of Banking & Finance/Capital Markets/Financial Regulatory this would be regarded as a plus
    • You are well organized and able to prioritize and manage time
    • You have the confidence and ability to advise at partner level
    • You have excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Dutch
    • You are driven to deliver the highest quality standards to our (internal) clients
    • You have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
    • You are a self-starter who enjoys teamwork
    • You are service-oriented, flexible, and have a can-do attitude
    • You have the perseverance and resilience to perform well under pressure.
