In June 2019, Kubota Corporation established Innovation Centers, first in Japan and then Europe (ICE), for the creation of new business ventures, products and services in Kubota’s fields of business, including agriculture and construction. Working together with external partners, the Innovation Centers should foster open innovation for proactive engagement with ICT, AI, Telematics and other advanced technologies, to accelerate the creation of new business, products and services.
Currently, we are looking for a team player who will work with the Business Development Manager and General Manager/CTO of the ICE. From your first day, you will have opportunity to immediately jump into things and become a core member of our international team.
With us, you will learn how to
Create a Vision Strategy in the agricultural sector
Engage in business-critical projects, evaluate their strategic importance and expand the company into new industries and geographical markets
Partner with C-Level (CEO; former senior McKinsey/PwC/EY/etc. and founders in start-ups) to work on strategic topics for the ICE in the different business areas (e.g., commercial, product development, operations, etc.)
Define and deliver analytics to support strategic and operational initiatives of the ICE
Structure and package analyses, strategies, and recommendations into highly effective, compelling communication and presentations for various audiences (top managers, founders of start-ups, academic partners, investors, etc.)
Conduct Customer Journey Maps with key clients (farmers)
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme, preferably in Technical Entrepreneurship, Data Science, Business Administration, Agronomy, Business Engineering, Economics, Finance or any other related field
Out-of-the-box thinker that is comfortable in challenging existing processes to further increase our operational efficiency
Strong communicator with a high level of drive, initiative and empathy
Able to work & communicate in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity
You are available for a minimum of 5 months (starting ASAP), 3-5 days a week (different options are available)
(Preferred, but not required) previous professional experience through internships at a management consultancy, investment, or Big Four company. Otherwise, experience in a start-up or corporate/project management role
Excellent written and verbal skills in French *& English*
