    Business Development Director, Sustainability

    As a key member of the Sustainability Industry Team, part of the Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions organisation, you will engage and collaborate with a broad range of customers and partners as they embrace a more sustainable future fostered by digital empowerment. As you increase your understanding of sustainability across key industries, you will apply your expertise to enable sales teams and partners to deliver relevant, customised industry solutions and services, built on a secure, integrated cloud platform, that will empower our customers to digitally transform their businesses.

    You will generate and maintain industry relevant solutions and platform opportunities, working and selling closely with our sales teams and partners. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

    • delivering the growth of our integrated cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365) through industry-focused sustainability solutions
    • partnering closely with our world-wide industry sales teams and specialist sellers to share best practices and customer references/case studies to bring our industry digital transformation stories to life.
    • engaging with selected Strategic accounts, building meaningful partnerships with the customer and account teams to formulate a multi-year business strategy.
    • developing relationships with CxO and business leaders in strategic accounts to drive business outcomes and deliver revenue growth
    • nurturing the industry partner ecosystem across selected strategic accounts.
    • landing the worldwide Industry sustainability strategy, solutions and sales plays within the strategic accounts.
    • Achieiving targets measured by the increase of integrated cloud revenues in target in selected Strategic accounts.

    With your commercial acumen and your ability to communicate with clarity to senior level stakeholders, you will be well positioned to make a meaningful impact in this role. As you endeavour to add value to our customers, the following knowledge, skills and experiences will set you up for success:

    • Demonstrable track record of enterprise solution sales and delivering against substantial sales quotas
    • An extensive career in a solution sales or consulting position working with, or for, global organisations in target industries such as manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, or financial services.
    • Regular interaction with senior level decision-makers in large, enterprise organisations
    • Understanding of cloud technology and digital transformation, with a familiarity with the solutions and vendors in the space
    • An ability to orchestrate and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, such as sales, account management and technical teams
