    Business Analyst

As Business Analyst in our Livestock Feed Innovation team, you can contribute to our purpose of Feeding the Future by providing important reports and forecasts, joining management teams, and continuously improving our finance processes.

    As Business Analyst, you will a play a central role in the Innovation organization by delivering high quality support in various projects and performing value adding analyses and reports that contribute to effective steering of the business globally. Examples of your activities are providing financial insights to teams which are developing our new products or digital solutions, acting as financial conscience in large investment projects and performing planning and reporting procedures for the department.

    The Business Analyst will report directly to the Livestock Feeds Innovations Finance Manager.

    What are your key accountabilities?

    • Ensure that expenditure related to innovation projects (e.g., on personnel and research facilities) is properly tracked and reported upon
    • Perform high quality business case analyses for Innovation projects, including post-launch success tracking
    • Drive effective use of Innovation resources through measurement on key financial metrics
    • Execute month-end closure procedures together with our financial shared service center
    • Contribute to an effective short-, medium- and long-term planning cycle (rolling forecast)
    • Deliver high-quality management information for effective steering of the business
    • Support and challenge project managers in investment projects and other projects
    • Act as sparring partner to the Livestock Feeds Innovations Finance Manager on a broad range of topics.

Besides that, you are a natural team player with strong communication skills, who is capable of working in cross-functional teams.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration
    • 5+ years of relevant working experience
    • Demonstrated strong analytical skills combined with a sense for business and control
    • Professional skills in Microsoft software (especially Excel), Power BI, ERP packages, and/or financial reporting packages (e.g., HFM/ OneStream)
    • Experience with the Finance side of business cases
    • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage
    • Proven track record of performing in a demanding international business setting
    • Flexible and pro-active “can-do” attitude and not afraid to challenge status quo
