    Job Summary:
    The Business Analyst is responsible for the conception, development and implementation of reporting dashboards and analysis solutions. This position takes an active support role in sourcing, organizing, and maintaining large volumes of data through the development of innovative tools, reporting dashboards and well-organized databases.

    The business analyst role within the CDS team is challenging and varied and includes the provision of data services to the EMEA region such as the Executive Information dashboard, performance charts and departmental performance monitoring tools. In addition to the EMEA services, CDS also provide systems to support the wider corporation including monitoring for timecards and HR’s initiative. The business analyst would also provide internal support for CDS systems, which include the Proposal Tracking System and jurisdictional monitoring software.

    Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):
    • Collaborates with personnel to identify needs/opportunities for improved data management and delivery
    • Communicates needed changes to the Senior Management team in informative, wellorganized, professional PowerPoint presentations
    • Collaborates with GLI management to report KPIs
    • Works with Programming staff to ensure that metrics can be obtained consistently
    • Develops complex SQL queries and reports
    • Implements self-service analytical tools to end users
    • Maintains an understanding in the areas of testing and database design
    • Designs and develops dashboard and reporting solutions to enable Senior Management to analyze information and improve decision making
    • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions • Develops functional specifications for client engagements
    • Performs other duties as required
    Required Education and Other Credentials:
    • Master’s degree in Information Technology Management or a related discipline is preferred
    • Project Management Certification (PMP) is preferred
    • Excellent knowledge of Excel
    • VBA, PowerPivot, and Power Query
    • Knowledge of SQL
    • Knowledge of Python (especially the Pandas library)
    • Knowledge of Power BI (also using the Power Query) + DAX
    • Knowledge of HTML
    • Good knowledge of the English language, verbal and written
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Planner is a plus
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    Required Skills/Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years of directly related experience is required; Certification, formal training, education or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the experience requirements
    • Must have relevant experience with one or more business intelligence DashBoard software packages
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook is required
    • Advanced SQL skills are required
    • Must have intermediate Crystal Reports and/or SQL Reporting Services skills
    • Must have demonstrated programming capabilities
    • Experience with IBM Cognos is preferred
    • Experience with BIO for Microsoft Dynamics SL is preferred
    • Experience with SQL Analysis Services is preferred
    • Must be able to communicate sensitive information tactfully
    • Must have strong math, business, analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position
    • Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties • Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
    • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
    • Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time
    • Must have the ability to read (both paper and computer screen) for extensive periods of time
    • Must have the ability to listen to and speak with internal and external parties on the telephone for extended periods of time
    • Must have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other Company equipment
