We are looking for a Business Analyst who likes to use his/her skills in Business Intelligence and to work within a big financial organization. You will work within the KYC domain. The domain is responsible for facilitating all kinds of Compliance Monitoring (Fraud, AML, CDD).
You will actively work within a DevOps Scrum team, making use of the modern techniques, performing thorough analyses, together with colleagues. You’ll get understand a criminal or fraudster and you’ll get to learn the details on how to protect customers.
As a Business Analyst, you will join the team who are responsible for Customer Due Dilligence. They are making sure that the organization is dealing with the right people from a compliance perspective. They have an inhouse build application which is used by more than 2000 internal users, such as Compliance Officers, Project Managers, Risk Managers and CDD Analysts. Currently, the organization is looking for someone who can use his PowerBI and SQL experience to help the team with building reports and dashboards.

Translating business requirements and issues into fraud detection application configurations;
Supporting with application issues and PowerBI changes;
Writing and running SQL queries, checking SSAS packages;
Converting laws and regulations into clear and actionable Standards, Controls and Procedures;
Perform basic change and run activities on top of fraud detection application;
Performing functional tests and user tests for new changes;
Understanding the current system architecture, defining future system requirements.
You have at least a completed Bachelor degree;
You have a Data Analytics background;
You have at least 2 years’ experience with SQL server and SSAS;
You have at least 2 years’ experience with PowerBI;
Ability to write a product backlog item (PBI) for specifications, new feature requests, bugs, or change requirements;
You have an understanding of an Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) (nice to have)
You have an understanding of KYC and CDD (nice to have)
Knowledge of SCRUM/AGILE/DevOps/LEAN;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
Based on a 40 hours workweek:
Holiday pay 8% of gross annual salary;
25 Vacation days + 1 bonus day per 2 quarters if you have remained fit and healthy (read: do not report sick);
Travel allowance 19 cents / kilometer;
E-learning portal with (almost) all IT training and education that you can propose;
50 euros for medical expenses (you can count gross on top of your salary!).
