At FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy Netherlands, part of the business group FrieslandCampina Food & Beverage in Amersfoort, we are looking for an energetic Brand Leader for our brands Optimel & Vifit.
As Brand Leader you manage the brand team and you drive ambitious growth through brand strategy, brand activation and brand innovation. You lead the development and execution of data-driven brand plans, focused on clearly identified Hero SKU’s, to drive brand penetration and profitable volume. You align and integrate with customer and channel plans from sales teams and you work closely together to execute physical availability plans.
What we ask
Academic; > 12 years FMCG experience at top 10 FMCG companies with demonstrated record of achievement, experience at senior brand manager level;
Category, Portfolio & Brand Understanding at advanced level;
Solid understanding of marketing (design and delivery), commerce, and understanding of strategy development;

Manage the Brand team and grow and develop your team members.
Lead development of data-driven brand plans for assigned brands, with Brand team. Align and integrate with customer & channel plans from Sales. Translate into detailed 12Q plan, incl. budget and initiatives. Run execution drumbeat.
Lead brand strategy development via defining brand identity and mentality and translate them into clear brand book guidelines.
Drive mental availability for assigned brands through consistent story telling over time and across consumer journey. With consistent reach & repeat and the right media mix covering all relevant consumer touch points, taking corrective actions based on insights.
Create relevant portfolio for assigned brand based on data: identifying Hero SKUs, identifying right price/pack architecture; monitor trends & consumer preferences to drive barrier-breaking renovations and innovation.
Drive physical availability by developing consumer activation plans (e.g. PoS, activity planning) for assigned brands, working closely with the team who leads execution. Drive perfect visibility by setting perfect-store guidelines; Develop penetration-building promo strategy and invest in promotions that have a positive ROPI.
Build digital consumer journeys in consultation with our Digital, Media and Insights team that reach relevant audiences, leveraging own media and digital content platforms.
Closely monitor key marketing KPI’s to mobilize real time adaptations to brand plans.
Manage brand P&L (incl. marketing budget) and allocate budget strategically;
Participate in key commercial planning meetings with sales team and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.
