Associate Research Statisticians collaborate across a broad portfolio of sophisticated evidence synthesis projects in a multi-level team structure. Responsibilities include carrying out quality control of input datasets in conjunction with research team, developing and running code required for analyses, and producing client ready outputs for integration into deliverables as indicated by senior team members.
What you can expect day to day:
Assisting with the delivery of components of evidence synthesis projects to support the HTA process; collaborates with other staff members to ensure high quality outputs
Assists in development of analytical approach in the form of statistical analysis plans
Develops code for statistical analysis
Provides client ready outputs for integration into technical reports and slides
Helps ensure timely delivery and financial performance of project subcomponents by flagging where changes are required to estimates of required hours
Supporting business development by contributing to research proposals and presentation content
1-2 years' experience in health care related field
Master's degree in biostatistics, applied statistics, epidemiology, operations research, economics, econometrics, industrial engineering or other relevant field
Experience in advanced statistical analysis, including survival analyses, regression analyses and meta-analysis
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs
Technical training and/or experience in indirect treatment comparisons (e.g. NMA, MAIC, STC, etc.)
