    Associate Director - Facilities Management

    The opportunity

    Effectively manage the Mace account team and supply chain partners to ensure that exemplary property and facilities management services are provided to the client and staff. To manage resources and promote an ethos of teamwork and to instil a culture of continuous improvement.

    To offer support and guidance to ensure that workflow is delivered effectively and to develop the team so that they achieve their full potential.

    To develop a relationship built on trust with the client in addition to contributing to the development and success of Mace by supporting the management team through business development and operational activities.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Overseeing the P&L performance of the account.

    • Safely delivering FM services in accordance with “Safety first - going home safe and well” and actively contributing to account health and safety via the safety leadership team.

    • Adapting and embracing the delivery of services set against the purpose: “To redefine the boundaries of ambition”.

    • Delivering Mace Operate net contribution targets and identifying additional opportunities both from within the nominated accounts and more widely in the areas where the nominated accounts are located.

    • Running the delivery of our services to exceed the client’s requirements.

    • Managing the resources required to maintain operational standards to the Mace Way.

    • Continuously developing of the services and relentlessly pursue a better way of delivery.

    • Delivering services within the commercial model and delivered on a prescribed and timely basis always seeking to optimise variable expenditure.

    • Cascading information to customers, peers and team whilst keeping management team fully informed.

    • Overseeing the line management of staff and maintaining excellent customer relationships. Mentoring, development, coaching and appraising.

    • Assisting with production of documents, processes and information for other work or new projects.

    • Keeping abreast of best practice within the industry by maintaining contact with peers in other market sectors.

    About you

    You have recognised HS&E qualification i.e., IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent. You have broad experience within facilities management at a senior/director level, contract and/or hospitality management. Proven experience in supporting a geographically distributed workforce. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships. You will have a facilities management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
