The Research Products team is responsible for delivering Sustainalytics’ suite of ESG products to clients, notably including our flagship ESG Risk Rating. Our research analysts conduct company, country, product, and thematic research and analysis, focusing on delivering insights that support our clients use to make better-informed investment decisions. As a strategic priority for Sustainalytics, the Corporate Experience unit was established, housed within our Research Products group, to drive continuous enhancement of company engagement in our research process across our research universe.
Job Responsibilities:
This role is situated in the Corporate Experience for top tier companies, with an emphasis on corporate clients that license their ratings for various use cases, alongside high-profile companies in terms of market cap, investor interest, etc. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment, blending research coordination and client management, to meaningfully contribute to enhanced collaboration between companies and Sustainalytics during their rating update. This role requires a strong communicator and problem-solver who can effectively coordinate across teams and product lines to bring timely and high-quality ratings to companies.

- Onboard top service level Sustainalytics rated companies for their annual research cycle. This role will be mainly focused on supporting rated companies in the EMEA Region. Secondarily, Americas or APAC regions
- Provide key point of contact support and oversight throughout the rating research process
- Organize kick offs, coordinate feedback process and answer process and status queries
- Use the Sustainalytics’ Corporate platform, Issuer Gateway, to work with rated companies
- Collaborate closely with multiple internal teams for end-to-end delivery of timely and high-quality ratings
- Ongoing oversight and maintenance of databases via tools such as SharePoint and Power BI
- Work with internal stakeholders to further develop technical tools which are needed by the team to improve processes as well as deliverables

The ideal candidate needs to be a genuine team player who can reach objectives individually, as well as through close collaboration and coordination with other team members.

- 2-3 years of experience in client management, project coordination, and/or sustainability research;
- Experience working with a corporate sustainability, sustainable finance or ESG rating provider is an asset;
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders from multiple teams and levels;
- Flexible mindset with ability to work towards strict deadlines and high-quality standards;
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, across different regions with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail;
- Experience in dealing with Sharepoint, PowerBI, complex Excel workbooks, and other data management tools is an asset;
- Degree(s) in related discipline (business, finance, sustainability. communication);
- Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision and values.
