Our client is an International Accounting Firm with clients from around the world. Headquartered in the US but with a large office here in Amsterdam.

Job Description

As an Assistant Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Delegating and reviewing all work of Accounting Associates within the team for the Amsterdam office
• Preparing financial statements for clients
• Manage and review balance sheet statements
• Review client deliverable (management reporting)
• Review internal quality control process
• Review quarter compliance deliverable
• Communication with various stakeholders to ensure quarterly reporting and accounting deadlines are all met

The Successful Applicant

The candidate will need the following:

• Bachelors degree of Accounting Finance or related
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in leading a small team
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and taxation
• Experience from an Accountancy Firm or in-house commercial finance departments are both welcome
