    Asset Manager Hydrogen

    We are expanding our network of H2 stations in Europe drastically during the next 10 years.

    Asset Manager Hydrogen

    TotalEnergies Gas Mobility is contributing to the mission of TotalEnergies to become a world leader in natural, renewable and hydrogen gas mobility and small-scale LNG by 2030.
    One of its fields of expertise is supplying CNG, LNG and H2 fueling stations. The stations are state-of- the-art, with extremely high pressures (up to 1000bar) and high-power rotating equipment.
    We will be setting the standard for all TotalEnergies’ stations worldwide towards the future.

    TotalEnergies has set itself a target of developing 150 hydrogen refueling stations in Europe by 2032 as part of achieving its climate goal of net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Major subsidy programs are being made available on European, national, and regional levels for supporting the development of the hydrogen industry, in particular the development of hydrogen refueling infrastructure. Therefore, we are currently looking for an Asset Manager Hydrogen. You will be part H2-team within the department of Strategy, Marketing & Innovation. You will report to the Head of Operations, Tech & Overseas.

    Your responsibilities
    As Asset Manager, you are responsible for all the hydrogen installations in 5 different countries (Benelux, Germany, and France). You make sure that the installations work operationally whilst ensuring a good performance and uptime and be commercial valuable. You coordinate and liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal station operation. You will draft, negotiate and finalize relevant contracts with legal department and affiliates for service & maintenance.

    What exactly are you going to do?

    • Setting up an Asset Management plan for the existing and planned H2 stations in 5 countries (Benelux, Germany, France);
    • Finding and selecting the right service and maintenance companies in the different European countries;
    • Improve the performance of existing assets by evaluating performance, reliability, uptime, and costs;
    • Continuous improvement: deduct new operational specifications for the new H2 stations (tenders) in Europe and worldwide;
    • Observe and analyze relevant technical and commercial market developments and translate these if useful in specifications for TotalEnergies H2 stations together with our innovation team;
    • Participation in technical H2 (norm) committees;
    • Fulfillment of technical subsidy requirements for financed H2 projects.

    The ideal Asset Manager
    You have experience with asset management either from a service, maintenance or purchasing point of view. You are excellent in communication. You ensure good stakeholder management. You know the interests of your surrounding parties and act accordingly.

    Your skills
    - Master’s degree;
    - 5-7 years of work experience for example in asset management, innovation and new technologies or building new businesses;
    - Good knowledge of English and preferable good knowledge of Dutch;
    - You are allowed to work in the Netherlands/ EU.
