    Assembly Technician (no shifts, Mon-Fri)

    For a new and innovative healthcare company, we are looking for an Assembly Technician (40 hours) in Nijmegen.

    All applicants MUST have full legal authorization to work in the EU region independently and be fluent in both spoken and written English language.

    Do you have a MBO degree and at least 2 years' of technical (mechanical) experience within medical device, food & beverage or automotive industry? If yes, read further!

    The role
    The Assembly Technician will be part of the team responsible for the in-house building and assembly of components of our client's device according to the company's work instructions. You will have a hands-on role in our laboratory. A large part of your work will be related to the assembly of various designs and components according to high quality standards. Furthermore, your task will be to maintain a structured lab environment and documentation of work performed.

    You will work closely with other team members, such as Test Engineers and Product Development Engineers. You will share the responsibility of realizing the full potential of our client's technology. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a dynamic environment. You will have a good hand-eye coordination, for refined work, and can follow detailed instructions. You will have hands-on experience in working with (catheter based) medical device building. As a candidate, you will look back on at least 2 years of work experience. You have MBO Degree with relevant technical experience.

    Essential job responsibilities
    • Building the company's catheter device, according to protocols.
    • Preparations and maintenance of the company's tools and platforms, such as (re)calibrations.
    • Managing the stock in the laboratory.
    • Experience in building (catheter based) medical devices.
    • Experience with refined manual labor
    • Some experience with bonding methods is preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
