We are looking for a strong candidate for the position of Apprentice/Internship. This position reports to Paul Slobbe in External Affairs.
During your internship you will be responsible for:
Support the collaboration and info sharing within small-mid size models to understand the care pathways in managing rare diseases
Participate in designing additional payers/physician/patient research
Updating collaboration tools (MIRO) cross-country, synthesize the results and find ways to explain the information back to countries and global easy to understand and digest
Depending on the results, prepare abstract for potential publication
Creating an overview with scientific literature on early pipeline planning: what is market shaping? Is it different for Rare Disease?
Pharma, project management, agile working, analyze literature, obtain and process data, present conclusions and recommendations
Preparing early activities for pipeline products is crucial to understand the market, the patient needs and the positioning of new products. Takeda has a broad pipeline of which 10 products are expected in the next 5 years. Most of these products are in development for rare disease. With orphan indications, were there are limited patients and often long time before diagnosis, it is extremely relevant to understand the needs of stakeholders, understand the burden of disease etc. As many small countries are challenged with resources, these preparations are done above countries to find similarities and allow sharing best practices etc.
You will be part of a team that is based in different parts of Europe, that coordinate their activities in EU, and collaborate with the Global organization strongly.
