The Kraton team serving the global tires industry is looking for a marketing analyst to help create more, better and differentiating insights in Almere.
We are looking for a new team member who is eager to go beyond data and information, identifies trends and patterns, and helps to transform data into insights, to make informed decisions, and design and develop initiatives to meet marketing goals.
The key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Data and information collection to identify and monitor trends.
This includes collection from internal sources like sales statistics, sales managers, application specialists and marketing colleagues, and from external sources like market reports, consumer tire tests, competitor websites and import/export data on competitive materials.
Collect data using a variety of methods, such as interviews, questionnaires, market analysis surveys, and literature reviews.
A key part of the role is to analyze the information, bringing it back to the core and find insights. This means converting complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, create crisp conclusions and present to the marketing leader.
For a highly technical application as a car tire, this requires some level of technical understanding, or at least technical affinity.
Gather and maintain segment-pricing databases for pricing analysis and price setting purposes. Provide analysis from this data to assist in developing recommendations with Marketing leaders and sales team.
Periodical financial, demand/supply, pricing, competitor reporting should be aligned with periodical meetings and reporting e.g.
monthly tires report
quarterly QMI on AMS product line
bi-monthly QMI on CST and TOR chain product lines
Manage the tires related data and information storage on sharepoint.
0-3 years’ experience in marketing plus BS OR entry level MBA
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel, and preferably Powerpoint.
Power BI skills are highly welcomed
Fluent in English language and German language skills are a bonus
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects at once
Ability to decipher data and provide relevant information
Ability to operate independently
Ability to research and access data resources online
Understanding of statistical methodology
Education, Certifications & Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, business or other related field
MBA a plus
