We are currently working with a client based in Utrecht, Netherlands who is looking for an AML Analyst to join them on a freelance basis. Our client works in the financial sector and is offering a 6-month contract with possible extensions thereafter.

This position is 90% remote and, due to current restrictions in the Netherlands, is likely to start 100% remote.

In this team, our client has the capacity to take on 1 junior, 1 medior and 1 senior analyst.

Your role includes:
Identify and analyze suspicious transactions in relation to suspected money laundering/terrorist financing
Analyse payment behaviour to determine origin of these suspicious transactions
Analyse signals/systems that could relate to/indicate criminal activity
Analyze whether detected transactions have been done safely and according to the rules and guidelines
Work with Senior, Medior and Junior profiles in a knowledge transfer process.

Your profile:
Minimum 2 years of experience in AML (this is the minimum requirement for the junior role)
AML Analyst experience
Dutch speaking

Rate: dependent on experience

Remote: 90% remote working
