    Amazon Merchandising Manager - to start 1st of April '22

    Our EMEA brand support center in Hoofddorp is looking for an Amazon Merchandising Manager, to start 1st of April 2022.

    The Amazon merchandising manager purpose is to drive retail insight and manage the merchandising processes for our eTail (1P/B2B) and 3rd party marketplace (3P/DTC) operation with Amazon platform.

    Reporting to the Sr. Merchandising Manager Digital, this position will turn sell-through data into actionable insights, drive marketplace point-of-sale performance visibility and help driving product plan/assortments to align internal key performance indicators with those of this key strategic retailer.

    Strong analytical skills required.

    What will you do?

    Key Account Contact

    • Being the first point of contact for merchandising related topics for Amazon's wholesale and DTC business (marketplace).GTM (Go-To-Market)
    • Drive Regional GTM and prioritization across digital platforms
    • Support the Go-To-Market process and execute on activities end-to-end from seasonal kick off through product clearance

    Sell-Through Reporting & Analytics

    • Create & own dashboards summarizing retailer key performance indicators
    • Analyze sell-thru data and communicate recommendations regarding risks & opportunities.
    • Provide insights to cross-functional departments including merchandising, marketing & demand planning.

    Product allocation

    • Build seasonal stock & sales plans for key partners to determine sell-in based on projected account sell-through, inventory (turn) and gross margins.
    • Analyze the Amazon sales to maximize the in-season business by buying the right inventory together with the planning department.

    IBP Processes

    • Drive the long-term planning process informed by fact-based marketplace capacity.
    • Ensure the alignment with the growth targets and Strategic plans of key partners
    • Ensure the inventory buy plan is in line with the seasonal merchandising strategy and drive the input for the IBP (individual buy plan) process with the demand planner.

    Assortment Building

    • Build the consumer right segment that is tailored to the Amazon business model.

    Market Trends and Pricing

    • Stay on top of market trends, competing brands and support pre-season price setting.

    Who are you?

    Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

    Minimum Experience:

    • 5+ years in merchandising(planning) and/or buying

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • A strong influencer
    • Able to drive and execute strategic decisions
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Strong collaboration skills
    • Innovative, flexible, and creative problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Master in Excel.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Power Point, Word).
