We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients in the e-commerce industry. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned clients, guide them through the onboarding process, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
Overseeing client account management, including offering additional services and our referral program
Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives
Respond to client queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
Clearly communicate the progress of daily, weekly and monthly targets to the team
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Track key account metrics
Prepare reports on account status
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
SOP’s are created and consistently being updated
Attend all required meetings and take minutes during meetings
Managing sales team calendars and set up meetings
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot)
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to client needs
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritize and exercise discretion and confidentiality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch
Work remotely/from home
Strong verbal and written communication skills in German is a plus
