UL seeks an accounting manager who will be responsible for an accounting team (4fte) covering 13 legal entities.

What youâll learn & achieve::

You will be responsible for the following tasks

• The financial accounting of Dutch (4) and foreign (9) entities
• Oversees and coaches the accounting team (4 fte)
• Monthly reporting of financial results to the global headquarters
• Compliance with external financial reporting and tax requirements
• Close involvement in special projects: legal entity optimization, ERP system implementation, mergers & acquisitions and integration
• Structuring, improving and optimizing processes and operations
• Business partner for local management
• Leadership role in EMEA Account-to-Report Team

What makes you a great fit::

• Public audit experience required (Big-4 preferably)
• University degree in Accounting or Business Economics added with a Dutch Chartered Accountant degree (Dutch -GAAP / US GAAP)
• Strong people management skills. Ability to build a high performance team and manage through change projects
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch and strong (internal) customer focus
• Likes to work in a dynamic, international environment
• Self-motivated Initiative and drive for continuous improvement
• Experience with Oracle financial information systems is a plus
