Department and Role Description:
MuleSoft is looking for a talented Sales professional with great energy and initiative to drive awareness for the new and fast growing product at MuleSoft, the MuleSoft Composer. The MuleSoft Composer Sales team is a newly formed team that will be responsible for bringing the new highly anticipated MuleSoft Composer product to market. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business unit that plays a strategic role for Salesforce as a company, while solving a big pain point for Salesforce’s new and existing customers in the extended mid-market and the traditional target market of MuleSoft.
The Composer Sales role executes a Composer sales strategy within an assigned region, enables the broader internal ecosystem on Composer best practises, drives revenue growth by driving demand in the current customer base, and develops new customers across existing Salesforce customers and MuleSoft target accounts. You will carry a quota for the Composer product sales in your region. Effective partnering with all Sales AE's is critical to the role. Working closely with the entire account team to drive the customer relationship and alignment at all levels in order to execute the overall account strategy is key to your success. You will ensure MuleSoft and Salesforce are positioning the right product from the MuleSoft integration product portfolio to the customer based on their need by working cross-functionally across Salesforce and MuleSoft.
Key to this role is your ability to articulate value, inspire and sell and position value of MuleSoft Composer in a Citizen integrator world across external and internal stakeholders. As a trusted advisor and coach, you are the person with the expertise in Citizen Integration Architecture that can match customer needs to the capabilities of the Composer and Anypoint Platform. You will articulate the value of the Composer solution through to executive level.
You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new product distribution sales team within the fastest growing Business Unit of Salesforce.
You will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our customers and the Composer GTM plan to fuel business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our team.
Depending on the segment, the years of experience and skills needed to be successful will vary from 2-5+ yrs of software or technology sales and account management experience. We will align your experience with the best suited segment.
Fluent in English
Strong experience of solution selling in software (SaaS)
Extensive background in technology software such as integration, database, business intelligence, and internet
Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team
Experience developing and presenting business value, time to money, ROI, TCO
Strong sales and business acumen
Drive for results via collaboration
Strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with executives
Knowledge of MuleSoft & Salesforce product and platform features, capabilities, and best use
Experience and knowledge of salesforce.com competitive landscape and technical ecosystem
