    The role

    As Account Executive banking you will be responsible for managing the key stakeholders and relationships for one of our major accounts . Your main points of contacts and key stakeholders on the client side are the tribe leads for payments, acquiring and issuing. You will be working across global teams and utilize your knowledge on payments, acquiring, issuing, cards payments, advanced payments technologies and digital payments to manage and grow the client relationship.

    You are reporting to the Regional Head of Sales and will be working closely with the client delivery team: operational delivery manager and business delivery manager. For client operations outside of the Netherlands, you will be working closely with the local business operational delivery manager and engage them to be part of the account decision-making process.

You also have a clear understanding of the relationships and interrelationships between the market, the various players involved, innovative developments and new market entrants, along with a vision of future trends in payments.

    In addition, you meet the following requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience;
    • Knowledge of and experience in the payments and cards industry;
    • Fully up-to-date on innovative developments in the world of payments;
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management in performance-based consultancy;
    • Excellent command of English;
    • Able to quickly develop and maintain a solid client-business network based on the multi-level client coverage matrix;
    • Strong powers of persuasion to help you achieve concrete sales results;
    • Able to identify and define clients’ problems;
    • Able to consistently measure and improve client satisfaction;
    • Willing to work flexible hours if required (for example, if you need to send out a quote to your client by a certain time and according to the usual high standard).
